Once your friend registers for the referral offer using your personal referral link and completes the offer requirements listed below, you will each receive a Visa® Reward Card. The more friends you refer, the more you can earn – up to $500 per calendar year.

Refer Friends Program Terms & Conditions

Referrer Offer:

The person making the referral (“Referrer”) will earn a $50 Visa® Reward Card for each individual or business referred (“Referred Person”) to Ion Bank who registers for the offer using the Referrer’s shared personal referral link, opens a new eligible account, and completes all offer requirements. A Referrer may earn a maximum of $500 in referral rewards per calendar year. Referral rewards do not roll over. Only one (1) Referrer may receive a Reward Card per Referred Person (the first Referrer whose link is used will be eligible).

Referred Person – Personal Checking Account Offer:

To earn a $50 Visa® Reward Card, the Referred Person must:

• Register using the referral link provided by the Referrer
• Open a new Ion Bank Free Checking, On the Go Checking, Preferred Checking with Interest, Classic 50 Checking, or Pure Checking account
• Complete at least $250 in qualifying direct deposits within 60 days of account opening
• Make ten (10) Ion Bank Debit Mastercard transactions (ATM transactions excluded)
• Enroll in eStatements

Qualifying direct deposits include recurring electronic deposits of payroll, pension, or Social Security. Person-to-person transfers or services like Zelle, PayPal, Venmo, etc., do not qualify. The Referred Person must meet all applicable Ion Bank eligibility requirements.

Referred Person – Business Checking Account Offer:

To earn a $150 Visa® Reward Card, the Referred Person must:

• Register using the referral link provided by the Referrer
• Open a new Ion Bank Small Business Checking, Business Access Checking, Business Access Plus Checking, Business NOW Checking, or Business Checking account
• Within 90 days of account opening, either:
  • Complete five (5) deposits of $500 or more, or
  • Complete five (5) Ion Bank Business Debit Mastercard transactions (ATM transactions excluded) or payments (ACH, check, or wire) of $25 or more

The Referred Person must meet all applicable Ion Bank business account eligibility requirements. A $75 Account Closure Fee applies if the account is closed within 180 days of opening.

General Terms:

• Visa Reward Cards will be delivered 4–6 weeks after all qualifying criteria are met.
• Referrer Reward Cards will be sent to the mailing address provided during registration.
• Referred Person Reward Cards will be mailed to the address used when opening the account.
• Only one (1) Reward Card per Referred Person and one (1) Reward Card per Referrer per unique referral will be issued.
• This offer is not available to employees of Ion Bank or its affiliates.
• The Referrer must be an active Ion Bank customer.
• The Referred Person must be the primary owner of the new account and must not have been the primary owner of an Ion Bank personal or business checking account within the previous six (6) months.
• Reward Cards may be considered taxable income. Consult a tax advisor.
• Individuals opted out of Ion Bank marketing will not receive referral emails. Ion Bank is not responsible for delivery issues due to opt-outs or invalid contact information.
• Issuance of a Reward Card may indicate to the Referrer that the Referred Person has opened an account. However, no account details will be shared.
• Visa is a registered trademark of Visa, Inc., which is not affiliated with this promotion.
• Visa Reward Cards are issued by MetaBank®, Member FDIC, and are valid for three (3) months after issuance. See card for full terms and the “Good Thru” date.
• To receive your Visa® Reward Card, the person you refer must register for the offer using your unique referral link, open a new Ion Bank personal or business checking account, and complete the required qualifying transactions after account opening.
